The Orem Owlz

Tonight we went to the Orem Owlz baseball game.
I have wanted to do this for months but we haven't gotten around to it, but our friend J had four free tickets that he wasn't going to use so gave them to us. It turned out to be a nice cool night. We had a blast. K had never been to a baseball game and so J was so excited to take him. He loved it. It must have been Mascot night because all the different mascots from the utah teams were there. The Grizzle Bear (SLC hockey), Flash the Fox (flash basketball), Bumble the Bee (SLC baseball), most importantly Hoots the Owl- who by the way K recognized and yelled Owl as soon as he spotted him(weird since we have never taught him the word or ever seen him before). The game was cut short unfortunately by a huge rain storm. We moved up to the cover seats and hung out for about 45min. J bought K a mini bat which he loves and we had lolly-pops. The game didn't start up again so we finally left at about 9pm. All in all it was really fun, especially to get out as a family to do something. We have decided that we want season tickets next summer and this year we are going to go to atleast a few more games.
