our world: Catching up -part 1 June

K got a tricycle- I have been wanting to do this for a while but had a hard time finding the old fashioned Radio Flyer. He loves to ride his bike with his cousins.

Camping- we went on our first camping trip with our ward. We had to buy a tent and all the gear, but it was so worth it. K loved it and slept better in the tent then in his own bed. (do you like our giant tent)

Summerfest-this is always a fun thing for our family, but this year was really fun because K was big enough to go on rides. He had a blast with his cousins on rides, watching the parade, and later the fireworks. We watched the fireworks from the back of our cars and they were good, but we all got distracted when we witnessed a car crash right in front of us. The little boys thought the police cars, ambulance, and fire trucks were way cooler than fireworks.

K has been saving change he finds so he could buy a "mac truck" (again from Cars) and we went to target and got it that night. SO Excited!

Pinewood Derby- the elders decided to do their own race so they all brought their cars. J decided to use his car from when he was little and made K a "Snot Rod" (from movie Cars) race car. This was fun for J to see how excited K was about racing.

Studio 1 Dance Year end BBQ- this was really fun to be a part of. We had a fun up provo canyon eating food, watching silly dances and having a huge water fight.
