what we have been up to for almost the past year

So, once again it has been a long time since I have updated the blog. Here it all is, a very long post with a ton of pictures of what we have been doing! Also I did it in reverse so you have to start at the bottom and go up. (lame I know but not going to redo it all)

I was a good mom and took the kids out when we got a lot of snow! They had fun. Big K loved making snow angels, snow castles, and snow balls! Little K was a little confused by the cold white stuff but did like the taste of it!

We went to the Thanksgiving Point lights
with the Bosgraafs and played afterwards.

We did a lot of playing at home since we were sick for about three weeks!

We went to christmas parties every weekend. Big K thought it was great, every house we visited he got presents!

NoVeMbEr

the month started off with SF Giants winning the World Series which was really fun! We didn't have much else going on bu hanging out and thankgiving at Jonny's moms.

Baby K learned to sit up and also army crawl. He is now on the move a into everything.

OcToBeR

We had a lot of fun with friends and family this month. We finished off our trip to california and had a blast at the beach, redwood forest, SF Giants game, watched a surf competition and playing with family. Halloween was a little different this year. We dressed up as the characters from the cartoon Johnny Test, no halloween party for the huberts, and tricker treated inside a church to avoid the cold wet weather!

CaLiFoRnIa TrIp!

we had a fun week long trip visiting my family in the bay area.

We went to the pumpkin farm and had fun picking fresh pumpkins!

We went to a SF Giants game and had a great time with the family.

As you can see Jonny was in heaven!

We went to the redwood forest! Big K loved counting the banana slugs (found over 100!) Pluss Jonny and my mom joined the banana slug club by kissing a banana slug (I joined in fourth grade on a field trip)

We went down to Mavricks beach to collect sea shells. We found a ton of sea urchins.

At the beginning of September we had my family out for my neices baptism. While they were here we went to see wild mustang horses out in west utah. Pretty amazing! Also just a few fun pictures of the boys, Baby K trying his first rice cereal.

These are just wild horses walking around. We lucked out and caught them when they were

going to the watering hole. After watching them for about an hour they finally just started running off. Amazing creatures and Amazing experience!

AuGuSt

We finally got out to the lake in august, sad that it was just one time but it was fun. It was for J's cousins annual lake day! We had a lot of fun in the sun skiing, tubing, playing on wave runners and lounging. My sister and her kids came along for the day. KS had fun with cousins digging in the sand and he loed throwing rocks into the lake. KO was pretty chill but did not know what to think about his life vest. We also were able to have a fun day at the zoo with our good friends the R's. The kids loved it and even KO thought some of the animals were fun to look at.

To finish off the month of august KS and his cousin M started taking a boys hip hop class! They were the only ones there the first day but they totally thought it was cool.

In july we had fun celebrating the 4th , we tried a new spot for fireworks, thanksgiving point, BOO. There were way too many people and the fireworks were really far away. So we have no pictures of the night. Our friends the R's boy turned 5 and we got invited to his pool birthday party. It was a lot of fun swimming and being with friends. Again we took no pics. We did spend Pioneer day with J's family and had a blast lighting off our own fireworks.

oh june! when it finally warms up enough to start having fun. We decided to start the month by getting pictures taken by my talented cousin. Then we had a special visit from my older brother MC and his oldest boy DC. DC plays on a rugby team and the team was in a tournament being held in slc. Fun! We got to go watch a game and hang out for a bit. We spent lots of time with our good friends the B's who moved to utah county, closer to us. Their little girl had a birthday which we were able to help celebrate. KS and his cousins also had swim lessons. Yay for warm weather!

was a quiet month. We did get antsy and went for a walk in the canyon with the boys. Other than that it was pretty chill.

ApRiL

We welcomed our new baby KO into our family at the end of march, so april was a start of a new life. We decided to bless KO four days after he was born, since gammie and papa chud were already out here. It was a little soon but KO was a trooper and made it through the day. That same weekend was easter so we dyed eggs and celebrated with family. We also found some time to go to the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. KS was happy to get out of the house and play. We had a blast taking tons of pictures of our new little guy, and our big boy!
